LIVING WATERS – MERCY HOUSE Living Waters began as a place of refuge for orphans, widows, and others from Chechnya suffering from the traumatization caused by the war in Chechnya (in partnership with KINGSCARE, a charity located in the UK). Since that need has lessened greatly, Living Waters is currently raising funds for their project called the Mercy House to provide food, clothing, shelter, and hope to homeless families and individuals in Armavir, Krasnodar Krai and the surrounding areas of Southern Russia.  Providing for the homeless is a great need in this region as the nearest homeless shelter is 5 hours away and only has 10 beds. In the winter many homeless left exposed to the elements die. Living Waters has the privilege of saving lives and giving hope to many homeless treasures.

Small House Being Refurbished

Mercy House Construction

Living Waters is currently refurbishing a small home they plan to use an initial shelter for the homeless just coming off the streets. For the past few years, Living Waters has also been building a larger more permanent home for the homeless down the street from the Center. Building has been delayed greatly due to lack of funding. Currently, Living Waters has a local team caring for all the homeless in the Center in Armavir, Russia.

The team needs on-going support to continue supporting the needy families and individuals they care for. Your support is greatly appreciated. Donations can be made below by PayPal or by check to Global HelpNet
